Patch v01.05 Notes (v01.04 on Xbox and Switch)

  • A timer will be added that automatically starts the game if players are dormant
  • Voting has been tightened up and acts similar to the PC version. All players can vote. The game will take into account all votes and attempt to create a config which accurately reflect the majority vote
  • The avatar system is now more robust. Peoples avatars and tags appear correctly, no duplicates occur
  • Bug fix for default colour schemes to new vehicles.
  • Bug fix for AI bot catch-up in MP games.
  • Improvements to missile targeting when the target is manoeuvring hard.
  • Improvements to missile movement to have them avoid the floor much more often when launching.
  • Electrical sounds volume is now set correctly.
  • Bug fix for playing previous/next music tracks to avoid playing tracks the player has deselected.
  • Bug fix for boss battles where slow-mo camera is now switched off at the moment a race starts and when a game ends.
  • Bug fix for Raptor not targeting off-angle vehicles.
  • Bug fixes for vehicle customisation.
  • Bug fix for vehicle physics when the Disruptor pickup is in use.
  • Improvements to the way leaderboard statistics are calculated.
  • Bug fix for selecting vehicles in split-screen.
  • Improvements for how the player’s overall average speed and position are calculated.
  • Bug fix for attaining achievements incorrectly when spectating a MP game.
  • Catch-up assistance is now less aggressive and off by default when playing Campaign.
  • AI bots now often avoid static obstacles more smoothly than before.
  • AI bots now drive more competitively even when catch-up assistance is turned off.
  • AI bot vehicles are now selected to be comparable to the player’s vehicle.
  • Vehicles are now allocated correctly to human players in split-screen events or tournaments.
  • Animation of the post-event screen now accounts for level capping at level 30.
  • The Tempest vehicle now has improved suspension properties to make it easier to handle.
  • Improvements to the rival’s system in Campaign.
  • Bug fixes for Split-screen tournaments.
  • Bug fix for split-screen results.
  • Carkour events are now restarted correctly without issues with event time.
  • Carkour events now start with an introduction.
  • Bug fix for restoring a shield after it being temporarily removed following electrical damage.
  • Bug fix for detecting whether the end of boss battle has been won by the player.
  • Defence turrets within race tracks are now inactive when playing a duel in Campaign.
  • Improvements to the Raptor efficiency.
  • Arena "View to a kill" is now rebalanced and redesigned to flow better.
  • Arena "Magmatic core" now has speedpads and has been redesigned to prevent insta-death.
  • Improvements to various track’s collisions and performance.
